We will begin gathering at the BP Energy Center at the corner of Benson Blvd. and the Seward Hwy.  at 6:30 PM with the program beginning at 7:00 PM.  The program will begin with Wayne doing a brief demonstration of mounting an orchid--a good opportunity for you to see what roots look like when they are trying to escape a too wet environment. After that we will try to watch a program from PBS entitled “Plants Behaving Badly” about orchids. This is a BBC production directed and narrated by David Attenborough.  Though similar to last month’s webinar,  it is so beautifully rendered I think you will not be disappointed.  I will also have an AOS Webinar on hand in case that doesn’t go well.  We will also be discussing the upcoming Annual Sears Mall Spring Flower and Garden Show which is set to happen on Saturday, April 7th (be sure to mark your calendar).  This event is our biggest fundraiser of the year.  Lots of flowers and people interested in orchids.   Please check your schedule for that date so you can sign up to help man the booth...and shop!
